​GIVING & PAYING DUES

The Alumni Association is now a 501(c)3 Not-for-profit organization so all donations are tax deductible.
We would appreciate a small additional amount to cover online processing fees of 3%.

General Fund

Annual Alumni dues of $10, as well as other contributions, are deposited into this account. This fund pays for a variety of items such as social media expenses, advertising, & all the costs of the Homecoming event. As an Alumni organization, our objective is to give a donation back to the school district each year to fund an item that is not in the current budget.  That donation comes from this fund. Even if you do not plan to attend this year’s events, please consider paying the Annual Dues or making a charitable donation. Please keep our objective in mind as you make your donation.  Your generous gift will help enable us to continue with this event and give money back to the school district each year.

Scholarship Fund

A separate fund is now established strictly for scholarships.  Because of the great support shown, we are now able to offer SIX $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. Our goal is to keep awarding more scholarships, as funding continues to be available. Donations for this account will be taken through events at the Alumni Homecoming, or you can donate here. Your contribution would help support additional scholarships to be given in the future.

Memorial Gifts

Donations can be given in memory of a classmate, school personnel or loved one... Or consider a donation as part of your Last Will & Testament, to honor your Bullpup heritage.  Any gift can be deposited into either of the two accounts listed above, at the donors’ discretion.  There is no minimum donation amount required, since every dollar matters. 

Each year, those remembered with a donation will be recognized at the Alumni Homecoming with a video depicting their name and class, using their senior photo.  A $500 donation OR memorial donations made to the Alumni Association at the time of death, will entitle that deceased Alumni a permanent place in the Memorial Video every year. 

***Once a donation is made, please send an email to CaneyAlumni@gmail.com with the choice of account, name of the person remembered, and the class that they were a part of. Deadline for inclusion in the Homecoming Program is May 1st. After this deadline, honorees will be added to the video but their name will not be listed in the Program. You can also complete the Dues & Donation online form using the link above. 

 

Checks are also accepted and should be mailed to the address below.
